On Wednesday 24th May, our athletics team made their way to sunny Southend to take part in the ISA regional qualifiers. All children did amazingly well on the day, we had many children with PB times, heights and distances and I was particularly impressed with our relay teams who managed a clean handover in every year group and race. Special mention to all the medallists on the day:

Well done to those 3 pupils who have qualified to for the nationals which are being held at the Alexandra Stadium on Monday 19th June.

 

It has been a pleasure to teach these wonderful athletes over the last two years and there are some real diamonds in the rough coming through the school in events such as relay, long jump, high jump, and ball throw. Big things to come from team St Mags going forward.
